What it is

A guichu remix (鬼畜, a Bilibili genre that cuts real footage so people appear to sing) in which table tennis Grand Slam champions, among them Ma Long, Zhang Jike, Fan Zhendong and Sweden’s Jan-Ove Waldner, with Wang Chuqin also tagged, sing Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk”.

Why it is trending

Table tennis stars are celebrities in China, and fans like to see the serious faces of the sport made silly. It was made for Bilibili’s guichu talent-scout project.

Fans in the comments debate which player has the most swagger, and tease that one player was cut from his most tense match footage rather than a relaxed moment.
